"I found out about this trick through a post at XStreetSL.com’s forum by one of the members. It seems that Second Life does not actually check the information you enter in the Age Verification form with your existing Second Life account information. This means that you can use anyone’s personal information in the Age Verification form, submit it and if its valid then it would be successful and you’ll be age verified. You’ll find a much clearer explanation of this here, SL Verification (Age & Payment) – Issues and Information." (no idea it's from which blog)
So, my friend took the infos of the King (even its driver's license number) and clicked "Submit". It worked. As for the legality of this process, I have doubts. I don't recommend anyone to take a dead person's identity, as it could (note the "could") be considered as identity theft by the family of the dead individual.
What my friend did (and I'm sure he's not the only one since it was a tip given on XStreetSL's forum) just shows that the age verification process of LL is far from perfection and they should be very careful, because not sure it would bring them any good news.
