Bored, bored, bored...

When you are a student, there is nothing more painful then a four hour break, especially if you have nothing to do (except blogging or plurking). I've checked my emails (nothing interesting), Google analytics (Arizona is still leading in the number of clicks) and checked Plurk (I feel so lost sometimes... everybody knows one another there... I feel like the new kid at school). Now I'm blogging... only 1 hour left before my Astronomy class... At least my friends as 3 hours of break at the same time of me (4 Canadian students talking more about the american elections then the canadian ones... go figure)... but without that freakin' long break, I would be home early. I can't even go on the website of Second Life because the stupid school computers won't let me. I might google to find a SL fashion blog or somethin'... or continue to ask myself "Should I buy the Pornstar converse?". Tough choice, isn't it?

Now, about politics. No, I'm not gonna voice my opinion, just state the choices, as it is an actual subject (it's even discussed in Vogue). In Canada, we have the choice between Harper, whose governement made mistakes (Bernier was on the front page of an italian newspaper I saw in Switzerland...), Dion, whose face is not helping (he's an alumni of my college and someone saw his picture when he was young... looked even more like a rat) and I'm still wondering why the Liberal party chose him instead of Ignatieff, Leighton, with his utopic projects that will cost the country a fortune and Duceppe, leader of the Bloc Québécois, who will never become Prime minister so technically useless to vote for his party (yeah, they do represent Quebec's interest in Ottawa, but otherwise, what's the point?). Now, in the US, two choices: McCain and Obama.Of course, I'm Canadian, so, you're probably guess my choice between the two. But the question to ask is: "Are Americans ready to have a black President?" Obama gets alot of supports from stars, designers (some even created clothes and accessories to support him) and personalitie, which helps. But when a normal citizen will found himself alone in the voting booth (or whatever it's called), this is where the decision will be really taken. Obama is only leading with 51% in polls, at least, that's what I heard. Are Americans ready to change? To make history? Those elections are going to have alot of attention from around the world. Everybody wants to know who it will be. My opinion? For both countries, it's time for a change.

But the main message is to go vote. We have that right, a right that alot of people would love to have in many countries.

Wow... never knew I could be so serious when I'm bored... Oh well... guess it happens once in a while.

It's all for now... and I'll probably go window shopping on SL once I'm back home. *curses her Astronomy class*

Haha, wake up early to have a 4 hour break, I'm sorry but that has to suck. Have you tried going on second life exchange? I think you could shop on there.

Yeah, but you don't have the amount of L$ you have on SL... you have to buy other L$ to shop there I think... anyway, it's not as fun as window shopping and being in a store.

And yeah, waking up early and having a 4 hour break definitely sucks... but I slept during the 1st hour of astronomy XD
