Very depressing day, BUT...

Ugh... Gryff lost... mainly only thing that was on my mind for about an hour. We arrive last. Huffle, who lost all their games, arrives third... We bloody squashed them when we played against them!!! So damn unfair. And the tech wasn't working properly. Basically, thinking more and more to quit Gryff. Tired to play for a house that doesn't give a shit. Might play for Raven at HU now (if the captain wants me to play of course). Which means that next month I'll need to get myself a raven uniform (spent too much at ETD this month XD).

Oh, and you'll never guess. I was looking at ETD stuff and saw a hair named with my RL name. I HAD to buy it. Not everyday you see something with my name. Not gonna tell what's my name (only Jody knows) but it's far from being common. So was just overly happy when I saw that. And the sale is just great. Even bought myself 4 pairs of shoes. 

Oh, and a small comeback on Tuesday. "What about that day?" you ask? well... Barack Obama was elected President of the United States of America. First black President in the american history. I was crying when I saw that on TV Tuesday evening.  AND I'm not even American. I'm the pure Canadian that is stuck with Harper as a prime minister. Americans got that super interesting President while we are stuck with a fat, boring Prime Minister (who doesn't give a shit about Quebec, my province). Oh well, at least our neighbors won't be stuck with Bush anymore, Canadians are glad Obama was elected (then why did the Conservative Party win?) and I'm overly happy to do my political analysis on "Why Obama won?".

Wadding through the expensive crap, so you don't have to #4 and elections

Well another store critic by Claik, this time about Mikan. Here is what he noted: 

"Mikan had some interesting freebies... ok, nvm they just sucked. There were some dog gestures, hair, and swimtrunks. The first hair was decent till you looked at the back then I changed it to the next one for relief on my eyes but was hit again with some bad hair. Then I tried the swim trunks since i've been wanting more swim trunks, that was untill I put them on and looked like an old tourist that goes to hawaii wearing floral trunks that ride up way too high."

Well... I think it indicates clearly that you shouldn't bother, unless you want to dress up as an old tourist going to Hawaii. 

Now, the important thing of the moment: elections. Yes, most polls are closed by now, but I'm just here to say that voting is VERY important. When my friend in SL told me he wasn't going to vote, I was flabbergasted (is that a word?). I admit I'm a political science student, but voting is a right everyone should cherish. If you care about your future, vote. This isn't just about politics, it's about the future of a nation. A lot of people in the world would like to vote in their country, but they can't because these countries are ruled by dictators. We should be proud to live in a democracy and we shouldn't act like it's just plain normal. If you don't care about voting, might as well go live in a country ruled by a dictator. You won't have to care about voting or politics. In fact, you won't have to care about what to think as they will tell you what to think. In other words, freedom of speech, the right to think by yourself comes with the right to vote. So vote or shut up.
