So, I was looking for the sim Error today to take a pic for a project of mine, but never was able to find it. I searched the Map, Search, Flickr, Ch'know (where I had first heard of that sim) but nothing that could lead me to it so had to go to another sim that wasn't as perfect as Error, at least not for one I needed. Then, at the other sim, a noob started to follow me. If it hadn't been for the fact that I needed that picture badly, I would have tped out.
Now, for the false representation part. If you read the previous post, you know I was hired as a model. An in-store model to be more precise. I never applied for the job, I was recruited because I look great and I'm stylish (Monkey... don't laugh or comment). The recruiter gave me a notecard telling me that if I was interested, to contact her. So, I read the notecard. Said models were paid 50L$/hour and that models could work a maximum of 2 hours a day. Also said that 3 model stands would be available: 2 in the main store, 1 in the discount store and that we could come in and work at anytime. Yesterday, when I went to do in-store modeling, there was only one model stand. My first reaction was "oh well, maybe they are gonna set the other 2 later". Wrong! Today, got a notice saying that only two models a day could model because too many models modeled yesterday and later on, I found out we had to reserve timeslots. That is very different from what was written on the notecard. Pfff... I was imagining modeling 2 hours a day, make a 100L$ a day, 700L$ a week, 2800L$ a month... loads of shoes, hairs, clothes... Thanks for killing a girl's dream. Boosting my ego by saying I'm great and I'm the bestest is amazing... but ruining my shopping dreams is not.
Finally, the Quid game with a despotic referee that is overly biased and hates the monkey for some unknown reason (my theory: he has no life). So, Snivellus (his SL name is overly inpired from Snape's name, hence why I'm calling him Snivellus), head of Slyth's house of despotic, bird-hating, self-centered snakes, was referring the match Raven vs. Slyth. There is a problem right from the beginning. The head of house is referring the match of his own house vs another one. Biased, much? So the match starts, Claik is "warming up" which basically mean he takes an additional fraction of second to catch the Quaffle. I score the first goal... but count points for slyth 'cause the keepers weren't keeping the right goals ¬_¬. I NEVER scored for the other team before. Anyway, as the match continues, Claik (and Safra) catches the Quaffle way before the Slyths (who set there brooms to "Slow" and "Slower" while the raven's are set at "Fast" and "Faster"). Suddenly, Snivellus stops the game and ask monkey a question regarding the fact that Safra had thrown the Quaffle, didn't score and next thing you knew, monkey was scoring. Good thing is, Claik had an explanation for it and the Slyth keeper confirmed it. AH! In your face, git.
The match continues and suddenly, another time out. Again, despotic twat asks a question to monkey. The problem? Monkey scores, catches the Quaffle right ahead, scores again and so on. That is totally normal for the monkey because he doesn't wait to see if he scored, unlike me who can anyway count on the monkey to catch the Quaffle once I scored. So, Snivellus accuses the monkey of cheating. Why? What are the proofs? Greasy git wasn't seeing any rezzed Quaffle when monkey was catching and scoring.
Now, for the ones who never played Quid in SL, the Quaffle doesn't take the same time to rez for everyone. Depends on how you set your graphic. The lower it is, the faster it rezz. But Snivellus doesn't know that. I complained, saying I played AGAINST and with him many time and that he would never cheat. Trust me, if I had thought one second he had cheated during the horrible first match Gryff vs Raven (one chaser on each side, me (Gryff) and him (Raven)) I would have complained. Stupid despotic twat said that monkey had been accused of cheating before. The previous accusation were all coming from Snivellus according to the monkey. Anyway, the reason he thought monkey admitted his guilt was that "he even stopped playing". Hum... no, when the monkey does that it's not because he admits his guilt. It's because he's tired of your stupid accusations and is basically saying that he doesn't give a monkey's butt. He's not the type to argue 'til death makes you stop (like me and Jody :P).
Anyway, he told Safra that she had to find a substitute chaser because Claik couldn't play that position anymore. I wanted to leave right away. Seriously, his accusations were phoney and based on shitty arguments that wouldn't stand a chance in court, but he still got away with it. Instead, monkey played keeper and the keeper played as a chaser. Raven still won... but never gonna play at WoH ever again 'til that despotic referee is gone.
