FYI, not only west coasters RP at the Marvel sim. Good thing I have my Sims.

Seriously, I think the people over at Marvel should study their demographic. All the activities are at times that don't work for people living on the east coast and beyond. The only class that really interested me was the combat class, but it's at 9 pm SLT. That's midnight for me and since I'm a 19 years old living with her parents, my dear mother sorta decides at which time I should go to bed (my friends tell me to rebel, but they are not the ones who will have to deal with her after I "rebel"). I can always lie during the school year that I have to study and so on, but during the summer vacation, my excuses are limited to "I'm chatting with a friend", which is the truth, but she then asks me with who I chat. I have to name one of my RL friends. She then ask me what we are talking about (good thing my friends are on FB since I can check what they are doing). Why not simply tell her I'm on SL talking with SL friends? my mom thinks that anything with the purpose of meeting people will lead to a collection of pervs that will track you down. I once told her while we were watching the SL episode of CSI:NY and her first question was "You're not giving any real information to anyone, are you?". She probably forgot by now and that's why I can't tell her that I'm RPing.

Anyway, coming back to the time everything seams to happen around Marvel, there is also that IC party. It was first at 8 pm slt (11 pm my time). I was planning to lie about chatting with a friend. Then, it was at 7 pm which was perfect since I could be there without lying to my mom. Now, it's at 9. According to the notice, the time change for more people. Wonder how you get more people at that time. It doesn't even work for Europeans. In the UK, it's 5 am (who gets up at 5 am on a Sunday?). In France and Italy, it's 6 am (people who work on a Sunday are getting up). In Greece and Turkey, it's 7 am (ok, perhaps some people over there would be able to attend the party). If they want to bring more RPers on their sim, I suggest making a schedule with hours that aren't crazy. I wanted to go to that stupid party, not because some bloody IC event was gonna happen, but because it's been awhile since I haven't been to a party in SL and I bought the cutest dress at Cupcakes.

I left Hogwarts for CU because it meant no uniform. I left CU for Marvel because it meant no uniforms, no crazy people obsessing about sex and special powers. Thing is, CU and Hogwarts had one good thing: the schedule was working with my timezone (and at hogwarts, they were giving the class twice at two different times if the "professor" could manage that). Now, where is the perfect RP sim? My SL is tightly related to RPing. I love the possibilities SL offer, but lately, I found myself staring at my computer, wondering what the hell could I do.

Now, on a happier note, i started playing the Sims 3. I created myself, Jody, Claik and Jadz. My sim is a bookworm, a loner (meaning she likes being alone), a bookworm, an hopeless-romantic and she's neurotic. The second neurotic character is Jody, who is also hot-headed, flirty, a great kisser (that was her request) and has a good sense of humor. The other one with the good sense of humor is monkey, who is also a computer wiz (go figure why i chose that trait :p), ambitious, couch potato (hehe, sorry, that choice was random) and friendly. Finally, Jadz is also friendly and flirty and is charismatic, daredevil and easily impressed. Nothing major happened so far. They all have a job related to their lifetime wish (except for Jody whose lifetime wish is to be the girlfriend of 10 different sim). Jody is obsessed with checking the stove and the sink to make sure they weren't left on. Cath, even if neurotic, doesn't do that much. She has an obsession of books. She went to read instead of eating the meal she had just prepared. Jadz talks to everyone (not very different from SL XD). Only the monkey did "funny" things. Before I gave each bike their owners, the monkey took the pink/fuschia bike (my theory is that Sims are seeing stuff in black and white) and while Cath was visiting the Landgraabs (the rich family found in nearly every Sims game), he was reading a book. When I looked at what he was reading, I realized it was a kid's book. Oh, and in the same day, Jadz broke the house computer and a public toilet.

That's all for now... I'm gonna attempt to go to the fair to buy some hair (the stiletto moody sale being only 40% off the previous collection, making these shoes still expensive).
