Great ball and Jadz owes me one

Yesterday was the Yule ball, organized by the house of Ravenclaw. I had a blue dress designed just for me with a big bow (I'm a bow lover) and I looked great. Sorry, I don't have a picture on my computer, only in SL (taken by my friend Jadz) and I'm too lazy to log on to go get it.

Anyway, my new friend, Olivia, arrived late and then that unknown guy (Rex... sounds like the name of a dog) started to flirt with her. 'course, I made him run away after he called me a prude and "darling". After, skirt guy (Prof H's alt) arrived and started to talk to both of us. Of course, because the guy once tried to ban me from Quidditch back at WoH, I decided to have a bit of fun. Call me mean, but trying to ban me from Quidditch is just unforgivable. So, made comments about his hair (way too long and an odd orange color) and his skirt (kilt, but the guy's name is McCord... "Mc" is IRISH! "Mac" is scottish. Therefore, if he was really scottish, his name would be MacCord. But it's a common mistake, unfortunately). He asked if any of us wanted to dance with him, I pushed Olivia to dance since a certain purple haired girl forced me to dance with Claik (evil monkey), but will talk about that later. So, poor Olivia got stuck dancing with skirt guy (poor Blondie).

Now, on to the reason why the girl I call best friend in my second life owes me one. She was sad I wasn't going to dance so she pushed me and evil monkey to dance together. When I realized what she was doing, I tried to convince her it would be awkward, but it was like talking to a wall. So, we got stuck and the point was to end it as fast as possible. Then, we realized that only slow dances were available. The point was therefore to find the slow dance that wasn't too... well, romantic. I thought #7 wasn't too bad, I was horribly wrong. Then he decided we should try #3. It was worse. I was actually laughing at our mistakes, especially mine (if you ever end up in the same situation, AVOID #3 and #7). After, Jadz had to go, so our torture ended there, thank goodness.

Overall, it was a nice evening. Don't forget that Christmas is in 4 days... which means the Christmas day parade is in four days. It's the 25th anniversary of this well known parade. I've watched that parade since I was a little girl, so it means alot for me.

Anyway, I'll probably blog a little something for you guys on Christmas, but if I don't, I wish you all a Merry Christmas!
