Where are all the professors and a great Saturday night!

Indeed my dear friends. Where are all the teachers? Herbology was cancelled because the professor never showed up and didn't send any notice. Might explain why Jadz ended walking on her hand out of boredom... On a more OOC base, I discovered that Jadz actually knows some of those Oompa Loompas, mainly known as THE LINDENS!!! (But I prefer how Alicia Chenaux's calling them (http://aliciachenaux.blogspot.com/) as she is the one who started calling them Oompa Loompas)

Back to IC, Transfiguration was also cancelled, but Charm, thank goodness, was not. We practiced Coloromuto an
d Wingardium Leviosa... two spells I handle quite well... oh, and we also did Finite Incantatem, I second year spell, that I did quite well also. I hope I'll do well in charm... I need an O in my charm N.E.W.T. to be an auror... I'll run to the library as soon as I'm done writing!

Also, tonight was party time! The theme was Victorian but the music was from the 50s, so, because I just read t
he first bit of that letter, I dressed up in a 50's inspired dress (from bossa nova cost: 0L$ (Got the freebie pack at the relay for life clothing fair, so I'm not sure if it's at the shop.) Still, Jadz told me I looked lovely (as she always does) and I came in with no date while my favorite tunes were playing. Jadz had a date, but she decided to match me with her date. Turned out he was a quite charming boy from Rome and a very good dancer. I was thanking my mom for making me take irish dance and ballet lessons as I was dancing. I would have been stepping on his toes otherwise. At the end, when it was time for Cinderella (me) to go back to reality, he invited me to next week's dance. Jadz thinks he has a crush on me... If it continues like that, I'll really end up being Hogwarts next sweetheart.

Do
n't I look cute? Of course I do! Am I modest? Keep wishing!

Let me finish this post with a quote about knowledge by Bertrand Russell: "There is much pleasure to be gained from useless knowledge."

I couldn't agree more! Did you knew that twelve or more cows are known as a "flink"? No? Well know you know! Night night!
